My IPs are too slow

The speed of residential proxies is affected by many factors such as:

• Location 
• ISP
• Usage of the internet connection 
• Interlink between ISP providers 

The Shifter proxy network uses state-of-the-art technology to optimize speed using a global network of nodes to route traffic. Due to the nature of residential proxies some IPs are faster than others. In case you have speed issues, change the proxy ports and test your speed again. The 3rd party tools you are using can also affect the proxy speed. For example, a web browser connection will always be a lot slower because it has to load every media file. 

Also your own internet connection and location also impacts the connection speed, you are connecting to the proxy network using your own connection instead of a web server.
